Travel Long Term Care RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nationwide team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will accept a series of travel assignments in long term care and skilled nursing facilities across the United States, providing high-quality, resident-centered care to an aging and medically complex population. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments safely, managing chronic conditions, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. As a Travel Long Term Care RN with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will support residents with activities of daily living, monitor changes in condition, communicate proactively with physicians and families, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice. You will triage and respond to urgent changes in resident status, provide education to residents and caregivers, and support restorative and rehabilitative goals to promote maximum independence and dignity. This position requires strong clinical judgment, time management, and organizational skills as you coordinate care for multiple residents, supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers. You will adapt quickly to new facility environments, workflows, and electronic health record systems while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
