Details Float Pool position within a hospital setting in Grand Junction, CO Flexibility to float across multiple units, including Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, and Neuro Trauma Spine Primary shift is 12-hour nights, with flexibility to switch to days Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours per week On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift Epic EMR used for charting 13-week contract Requirements Active CO RN license or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the specialty being applied for Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS — all must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred) DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration 2 professional references required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care across assigned units Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient well-being Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic Former permanent Intermountain staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID #P-704546.
