A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM 36 hours per week guaranteed Every other weekend requirement Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other future holidays during contract No on-call requirements 2 years minimum Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity Must be comfortable with gender affirmation surgery patient population Previous travel assignment preferred but will consider first-time travelers with excellent references Required certifications: BLS, NIH, ACLS Cerner documentation experience preferred Navy blue scrubs required (not provided by facility) Must have either compact license or MD license Two supervisory references required including one from most recent assignment No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Facility-specific modules must be completed within one week of contract signing Facility: This medical center operates a 48-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit with a post-operative focus while also treating various medical diagnoses.
