Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Mental Health for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty Mental Health Discipline Therapy Duration 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel The Licensed Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Social Worker will provide support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing care plans, coordinating services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote overall well-being. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based individual, family, and/or group therapy addressing a range of mental health conditions. Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for patients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral health concerns. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and document clinical outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support integrated, coordinated, and holistic patient care. Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and care coordination activities. Provide behavioral health consultation and make referrals to appropriate community or specialty resources. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Ensure adherence to all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards, including HIPAA and licensure requirements. Deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care to diverse and underserved populations. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and wellness practices to promote empowerment and self-management. Work Environment Outpatient community health center setting. Integrated primary care and behavioral health model. May include in-person and telehealth service delivery. Flexible scheduling possible based on patient and program needs. Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required or current state registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) depending on state in which they will be working.
