MRI Tech Location: Brunswick, GA Agency: Care Career Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: Brunswick, Georgia Pay Range: $34.20 to $51.34 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Schedule: Full-Time Days | 3x12s 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM 4 nights one week/3 nights one week - rotating weekends A leading healthcare system in Brunswick, Georgia is seeking MRI Technologists to join a growing imaging department with strong leadership, modern equipment, and a collaborative team culture. This role collaborates closely with radiologists and providers to ensure accurate imaging and excellent patient outcomes. Technologists are responsible for completing provider-ordered MRI procedures according to established protocols while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures Obtain patient history and complete safety screenings and documentation Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively Maintain high-quality imaging standards to support accurate diagnoses Communicate with radiologists and providers regarding imaging protocols when needed Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines Coordinate with care teams to ensure efficient patient workflow Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Radiology program Certifications ARRT (R) required MRI registry required within 12 months of hire Additional Requirements BLS certification required Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Technologists who are not yet MRI registered will have 12 months to complete their MRI registry, and the facility will cover the cost of certification.
