MRI Tech Location: Craig, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist, CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: MRI Technologist, CT Technologist Duration: Permanent Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: Full-time Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: ARRT registration in Radiology (R) including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must successfully pass a background check. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test if applicable. Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment. Description: Provides diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities. Ensures accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and optimal patient care. Prioritizes patient education, explaining procedures, equipment, and exams clearly. Performs MRI procedures according to protocols. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including X-ray and Fluoroscopy. Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards. Operates equipment consistent with the manufacturer's recommendations. Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if necessary. Maintains accurate patient records in electronic health records including charging for procedures. May be required to perform other functions within the facility. Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules. Obtains additional training or certification as required. Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required. Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision. Orders, stocks, and maintains supply inventory. Demonstrates full commitment to organizational values. Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication. Adheres to attire and dress code in accordance with policies and procedures. Exhibits initiative and self-motivation. Completes all required annual education, training, and certification updates. Maintains strict patient confidentiality at all times. Reports to work punctually and completes assigned duties within established timeframes. Actively contributes to performance improvement and quality initiatives.
