Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. (Client requires active MRI certification through ARRT or AMRIT.) Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. (Client requires an Associate Degree.) Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience. (Client requires 2+ years of MRI experience.) Siemens MRI system experience. (Client requires Siemens experience.) Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification. (Client requires active BLS.) Ability to provide two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years. (Client required documentation.) Profile documentation: current work history and skills checklist pertinent to MRI, within the past year. (Client required documentation.) Willingness to comply with facility requirement that candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility's permanent address. (Client restriction.) The regional setting suits clinicians seeking a suburban lifestyle with easy access to outdoor adventure, cultural venues, and short commutes to neighboring cities. Additional Role Summary Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using advanced MRI equipment and protocols. Prepare scan rooms, interview and screen patients for contraindications, and verify prior exams and clinical information. Administer IV contrast and oral contrast as indicated and perform warm-up procedures on equipment. Position patients, select appropriate coils and protocols, and acquire diagnostic images with attention to quality and order.
