MRI Tech Location Mechanicsville, VA Agency Jackson HealthPros Pay $2,275 to $2,475 per week Shift Information Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration 13 Weeks Start Date 5/26/2026 About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified MRI Tech in Mechanicsville, Virginia, 23116! Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registry required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to direct patient care. Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting required. (Client requires hospital experience.) Experience with GE MRI equipment required (GE 1.5T Signa Artist and GE 3T Premier preferred). PACS experience preferred. Ability to perform IV contrast administration and magnetic contrast injections. Experience working with mixed patient populations including pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Ability to collaborate in a team environment and assist with training of new staff and students. No local candidates. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Schedule: 40 hours, 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. On-call/Call Requirement: 4 call days per month. Daily Case Volume: Approximately 35–40 cases per day. Equipment: GE 1.5T Signa Artist, GE 3T Premier. PACS used for image management. Patient Population: All ages including pediatrics, inpatient and outpatient. Interview Process: Initial ITO interview followed by hiring manager interview.
