We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Albany, NY. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-surgical heart patients, arrhythmias, and heart failure. Responsibilities include closely monitoring patient vital signs, managing advanced cardiovascular equipment, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will also educate patients and families on post-discharge care and recovery processes. Ideal candidates possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A current NY nursing license and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
