Travel Nurse – Correctional – Virginia – $8,600 per Month (2 Years Experience Required) We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional for contract assignments across Virginia and other U.S. states . Travel nursing contracts allow nurses to take temporary assignments in different facilities while receiving competitive pay, housing stipends, and travel benefits. Must have 2+ years of RN experience. This contract pays approximately $8,600/month gross depending on location and facility needs. Key points about multi-state contracts: Compact Licensure (NLC): Many states participate in the Nurse Licensure Compact, allowing nurses with a compact license to work in multiple states without obtaining additional licenses. Non-Compact States: Some states require a separate state nursing license before starting an assignment. Assignment Flexibility: Nurses can accept contracts nationwide or choose assignments only within specific states. Extensions: Many contracts offer the option to extend another 13 weeks if both the nurse and facility agree.
