Job Details – Med/Surg Tele RN (Harrison Township, NJ) Weekly Estimated Pay $1,350 - $1,420 Setting Acute Care Hospital – Float Pool (Emergency Department and Inpatient Units) Contract Duration 13 weeks Hours per Week 24 Schedule 12-hour shifts, Sunday through Saturday; weekend availability required Start Date June 1, 2026 Location 700 Mullica Hill Road, Harrison Township, NJ 08062 (New Jersey nursing jobs) Scrub Color Navy Blue Charting System Cerner (transitioning to EPIC) Job Requirements – Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum 2 years' experience as a Med/Surg Telemetry RN in an acute care hospital or similar setting Active RN license in New Jersey or an active compact state license Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS required Stroke CEUs and completion of PCU or Critical Care course required Ability and willingness to float among the Emergency Department and inpatient units based on hospital census Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) permitted during the 13-week contract Responsibilities – Telemetry Registered Nurse Provide comprehensive nursing care to observation and inpatient-status patients in the ED and inpatient units Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data; recognize and escalate changes in patient condition Float to different clinical areas as needed to support staffing and patient care across the float pool Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Cerner/EPIC charting systems Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards Why join us: This float pool Med/Surg Tele RN role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to impact patient care across multiple hospital units.
