Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Sioux City, IA Agency: talent4health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and notify physicians of changes. Perform assessments, document patient conditions, and update care plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Respond promptly to changes in patient status or emergencies. Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers. Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
