Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Liberal, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: Permanent Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Rotate If Necessary Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred. License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (can be obtained within 6 months of hire) Must-Have: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care; ability to manage multiple patients; strong communication and documentation skills. Description: Provide safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Manage multiple patients effectively. Exhibit proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care. Experience with admissions, discharges, and patient education is preferred. Possess strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills. Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately. IV certification and prior medical surgical experience is preferred. Jewelry must be kept to a minimum. Visible face and body piercings (outside of traditional ear piercings and small nose studs) are not permitted while on duty. Shift requirements include day and night positions, with every other weekend and holiday commitment. Float to skilled nursing and postpartum care may be required.
