Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Neuro ICU (Night Shift) Oklahoma City | OU Health – Neuro Transplant ICU Schedule: 3x12 Nights | 36 Hours/Week Competitive Pay Package Available Position Overview OU Health is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Transplant ICU unit in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for ICU nurses with Level I Trauma experience who thrive in high-acuity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The RN will work under general supervision to provide direct patient care to critically ill neurological and transplant ICU patients with complex medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill Neuro ICU patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products safely and accurately Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of RN experience in ICU/Neurology critical care Recent Level I Trauma ICU experience required Previous travel nursing experience preferred Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC) Current BLS Certification (AHA) Current ACLS Certification (AHA) Schedule & Assignment Details Shift: Nights Hours: 36 hours/week Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 12-hour shifts Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension) Facility Details OU Medical Center 700 NE 13th Street Oklahoma City 73104 Department: Neuro Transplant ICU Why Join This Assignment?
