Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Morristown, NJ Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Shift: Days, 12‑hour shifts Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week Responsibilities Pre‑Operative Prepare operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. Conduct pre‑op patient assessments. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and expectations. Administer pre‑operative medications as required. Ensure all documentation and consents are verified. Intra‑Operative Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies efficiently. Monitor and document patient vital signs. Maintain strict sterile field and infection‑control practices. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow. Post‑Operative Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia. Provide immediate postoperative care and assessments. Educate patients/families on wound care, discharge instructions, and follow‑up. Record detailed surgical logs and patient care documentation. Requirements Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience License: Active RN license eligible for submission Education: BSN not required Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) ACLS (AHA or ARC) Charting System: EPIC Care Setting: Acute Local Candidates: Accepted
