Occupational Therapist Location: Bowling Green, KY Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Opportunity: The Occupational Therapist Job Details: Follow facility guidelines for personal appearance, attendance and punctuality• Work in outpatient neuro setting with preferred experience in that area or at least a clinical rotation in outpatient Assess patient's level of functioning upon physician orders and plan appropriate treatment based on assessment Participate in interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning for each patient Complete appropriate documentation according to department policy and procedures Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students Assist with new staff orientation and student supervision Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Communicate with patients and family members at their level of understanding Attend team conferences and provide pertinent information for collaboration Maintain flexibility in scheduling patients and resolve conflicts cooperatively Follow discharge planning process and document equipment training with patients/families Demonstrate good safety techniques regarding patient, self, others, and equipment Observe patient confidentiality and maintain professional standards BLS certification required prior to first shift Must hold valid, current state license Minimum of 2 years of experience required Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a specialized rehabilitation facility focusing on critical illness and rehabilitation services.
