Occupational Therapist Location: Fort Dodge, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: Full-time Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: One year experience caring for a similar patient population License: Licensed as an Occupational Therapist as required Certifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card Must-Have: Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy education program. Eligible to take or has completed the entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapists. Valid driver’s license with automobile insurance in accordance with state requirements. CPR certification. Mandatory reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse. Description: As an Occupational Therapist in our Home Health team, you will bring your clinical expertise and compassionate care directly to patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a key role in developing and delivering personalized therapy plans that help patients regain independence. Your focus will be on improving patients' quality of life and assisting them in achieving their goals. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you will provide hands-on treatment, education, and support, all grounded in best clinical practices. Your impact will be evident in improved patient outcomes and the meaningful relationships you build. You will be responsible for making visits to the homes of patients requiring occupational therapy services and for ongoing interdisciplinary assessments. You will evaluate and assess the patient’s level of functioning by applying appropriate tests. You will develop specific occupational therapy procedures as well as functional activities in accordance with the written plan of treatment and patient evaluation. You will also develop and administer a plan of treatment that may include environmental modifications.
