Occupational Therapist Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: OT Job Details: Must follow facility guidelines for personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality• 13-week assignment 20 hours per week Plan, organize, develop, administer, direct, and supervise occupational therapy treatment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards Assess patient's level of functioning upon physician orders Plan and implement appropriate treatment based upon assessment Participate in interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning Complete appropriate documentation according to department policy and procedures Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students Assist with new staff orientation Complete initial patient evaluations and treatment plans Attend team conferences and provide pertinent information Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate safety techniques Communicate with patients and family members at their level of understanding Required certifications: BLS certification required prior to first shift Must hold a valid, current state license Minimum of 2 years of experience required Facility: This healthcare organization specializes in critical illness and rehabilitation services, focusing on superior quality patient care and safety.
