Occupational Therapist Location: King City, CA Agency: Niktor LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Description We are seeking a proactive Director of Occupational Therapy to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. This role provides a strategic balance of leadership and direct clinical work, with a typical split of 80% patient evaluation and treatment and 20% administrative oversight and program development. The Director is responsible for the clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy staff, including certified assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians. You will lead the clinical education process, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the department’s policy and procedure manuals to ensure excellence in scope of care and discharge planning Requirements Requirements Education: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) . Licensure: Active license (or eligibility) in the State of California through the Board of Medical Quality Assurance . Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy. Clinical Versatility: Experience or ability to work in both Inpatient and Outpatient rehabilitation settings. Credentials: Must meet all additional qualifications recommended by the CA Therapy Board . Preferred: Current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) .
