A travel Occupational Therapist opportunity is available, providing specialized therapy services within a school setting in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role supports students with various physical, sensory, or developmental challenges by implementing tailored therapeutic interventions to enhance their functional abilities and educational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on students' goals and progress. Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support and maximize student success. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize creative and evidence-based techniques to promote fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care abilities. Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Colorado or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience working within school-based therapy programs or pediatric settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of educational and therapeutic practices tailored to children with diverse needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and colleagues. Flexibility and adaptability to manage the demands of a travel position, including travel arrangements and varied work environments.
