ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio. Occupational Therapist ~ Discipline: Therapy ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist - Day Shift The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, develops, administers, directs, and supervises OT treatment in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines. Assess patient’s level of functioning based on physician orders and implement appropriate treatment plans. Participate in discharge planning, including patient/family education and adaptive equipment recommendations. Complete necessary documentation in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students in applying therapy techniques. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards promptly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care. Attend team conferences and provide pertinent information for patient care. Valid and current state license as an Occupational Therapist. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy; inpatient rehab or neuro experience highly desired.
