Deliver skilled nursing care in a dynamic operating room setting, providing exceptional perioperative support at a healthcare facility in Carbondale, IL. This travel opportunity focuses on cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) dayshift hours with on-call requirements, and includes floating to clinically appropriate units as needed—leveraging your licensure, competencies, and scope of practice to support multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the CVOR, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Float to various clinical units such as emergency departments, ICUs, step-down units, and medical/surgical floors based on staffing needs and your expertise. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements across multiple hospital departments. Respond to on-call duties as required to meet patient care demands. Qualifications & Certifications Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. Valid CPR/BLS certification. ACLS certification mandatory. Familiarity or certification in PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CSU-ALS is preferred or required depending on floated units. Demonstrated ability to adapt and deliver care in diverse clinical environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
