Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Hudson, Florida. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Outpatient experience preferred. Candidates with experience in orthotics/prosthetics training, gait training, balance and coordination programs, and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, TENS, whirlpool, paraffin, iontophoresis, fluidotherapy) preferred. Experience implementing treatment plans and documenting patient progress in an outpatient setting required. Ability to follow safe patient handling procedures and facility safety protocols required. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Pattern: 5x8. Assignment Duration: 13 Week assignment. Positions Available: 1. Candidates must adhere to facility appearance, attendance, and safety guidelines. Location Highlights Hudson, FL offers coastal and suburban living with accessible outdoor recreation. Hudson is located near the Gulf of Mexico shoreline and is within a 20–30 minute drive to Fred Howard Park and its beachfront and fishing pier. The area is about a 40–50 minute drive north of Clearwater and 45–60 minutes west of Tampa, offering urban amenities, cultural attractions, and regional transit connections. Hudson provides easy access to waterfront activities, boating on the Gulf, local trails and parks, and a quieter suburban lifestyle while remaining commutable to larger metropolitan areas for dining and entertainment.
