Job Description & Requirements Specialty Physical Therapist Discipline Therapy Start Date 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 8, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a hospital-affiliated outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Georgia, with Epic EMR experience and a Monday–Friday day shift schedule. Details Hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic specializing in physical, occupational, and speech therapy Patient volume of 10–15 patients per day, scheduled in 30-minute intervals with dovetailing; complex evaluations are 1 hour, simple evaluations and treatments are 30 minutes Patient population includes general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures Monday–Friday schedule during normal business hours; schedule is either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (consistent day off determined by clinic) No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday requirements EMR: Epic No floating required Requirements Active Georgia PT license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required, with most recent experience within the last year First-time travelers will not be considered for this position At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Clinic team includes 3 therapists, 1 Lead Therapist, 1 Office Coordinator, and 2 Rehab Aides Orientation includes a new employee orientation (NEO) plus 5 days of departmental training Teal and black polos provided; slacks and clean shoes preferred Free parking on site Candidates who have previously worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible Local candidates are accepted — no radius rule applies, and the same rate applies to local travelers at Georgia facilities RTO requests are subject to manager approval American Traveler Job ID #P-696087.
