Schedule Days Job Description The Physical Therapist implements patient rehabilitation programs to help improve patient mobility, function, and strength. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Utilize Electronic Medical Records to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up. Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to ensure quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up regarding prescriptions and test results. Assist patients in mobility and provide stand-by assistance during walking. Be involved in business marketing and referral processes when necessary. Follow HIPAA policies and procedures to protect patient privacy. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy.
