Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: Pathologist Assistant SNSNSN Location: Nashville, TN. Shift: Evenings – 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (5x8s, Mon–Fri) Duration: 13 weeks Job Duties Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens. Assist in preparation of specimens for microscopic evaluation and diagnosis. Complete accurate and timely surgical case documentation and reports. Utilize cryostats for frozen sectioning and gross room equipment. Support pathologists by ensuring accurate, high-quality clinical outcomes. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pathologist Assistant studies required ASCP certification required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of Pathologist Assistant experience required Strong knowledge of surgical pathology procedures and gross dissection techniques required Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required COVID vaccination or approved exemption required prior to start No excessive time off allowed; all RTO must be submitted upfront Prior travel experience preferred but not required Certification must be on file at time of submission
