On the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Adolescent Medicine units, you'll encounter diverse diagnoses such as leukemia, solid tumors, sickle cell crisis, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, behavioral health issues, and general adolescent medicine, giving you broad exposure and the chance to make a genuine impact. Schedule/Hours: 7a-7p, 12-hour shifts Weekend rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Coverage: Work 75% of holidays 6-week scheduling cycle No on-call requirement Required Qualifications: 1 year of acute care experience in pediatric hem/oncology (PHO required) Active RN license BLS certification, APHON chemo certification (required) PALS preferred Strong pediatric assessment, central line management, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for pediatric hematology/oncology and adolescent medicine patients Manage chemotherapy and central lines safely and effectively Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, hospitalists, intensivists, and pharmacists</
