Meda Health is seeking a travel Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Salinas, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty Pediatric Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Ideal Candidate: Strong NICU OT background Comfortable working independently in a hospital rehab setting Skilled in patient/family education and discharge planning Professional, reliable, and documentation-focused Requirements: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required Active California Occupational Therapy license at time of submission required Current BLS through AHA required Minimum 3 years of OT experience Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required Must be comfortable with patient assessment, care planning, family education, documentation, and adaptive equipment Responsibilities: Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on physician, patient, and family goals Provide age-appropriate OT care, including NICU/pediatric interventions Support fine motor, self-help, developmental, and durable medical equipment needs Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and discharge needs Complete timely and accurate documentation Assist with safe, effective return to the highest level of independence possible Coordinate with care teams and CCS Case Managers as needed About Meda Health Our mission is to bring positive change in communities by connecting dedicated and skilled healthcare professionals to facilities in different parts of the country.
