Pharmacist Location: Lander, WY Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: Pharmacist Job Details: Must be knowledgeable in pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and therapeutic monitoring• Work in collaboration with Director of Pharmacy to compound and dispense medications according to standard procedures Interpret medication orders and dispense pharmaceutical preparations in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards Supervise technical support staff and provide professional guidance to pharmacy personnel Participate in performance improvement plans and quality management programs Provide consultation services to administration, medical staff, and hospital personnel Maintain competency in treating adult and geriatric patient populations (ages 18-65+) Enter minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift Generate required reports including IV and production reports Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure proper medication storage procedures Review patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy Perform pharmacokinetics dosing services and interpret medication levels Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances Required certifications: Wyoming BOP license and BLS certification through American Heart Association 1 year recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive pharmacy department that serves adult and geriatric patient populations.
