This role involves prioritizing patient and employee safety, implementing treatment goals, and assisting in various therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their long-term goals. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist. Assist with therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, and community re-entry training. Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper guarding techniques. Monitor patient responses and intervene as needed during therapy sessions. Ensure safe usage of equipment and report any malfunctioning items. Document patient progress and educate patients and families on body mechanics. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals during team conferences. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the treatment area and comply with all clinic policies and protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School. CAPTE Certification. 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience. Current CPR Certification. Active/applicable license for the state of practice. Schedule This position works on a 5x8.0 schedule, providing consistent hours focused on patient care.
