Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline Therapy Duration 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in a skilled nursing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, assisting them to improve mobility and independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Wisconsin Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or may be required by client. (Client may specify AHA or ARC.) Experience providing therapy in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers, gait training, and use of standard adaptive equipment preferred. Ability to follow plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist and to document patient progress in electronic medical records.
