Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Palmer, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline Therapy Start Date 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Massachusetts PTA license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Experience with therapeutic modalities and assistive-device training preferred (examples: ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, gait training with canes/crutches/walkers). Ability to implement treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist and document patient progress. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient Shift: Other (5x8) Duration: 13 week assignment Positions Available: 1 May be required to follow facility safety and infection control procedures, including safe patient handling and equipment use.
