Physical Therapist Location: Yuma, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: Full-time Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year in a hospital setting License: Current Physical Therapy license Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: - Doctorate Degree - Clinical competency, experience, training, and education required for the job - Willingness to relocate Description: This position is responsible for the evaluation, planning, administration, and supervision of Physical Therapy treatment in accordance with physician referral, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures. This position demonstrates clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served. Evaluates patients' functional abilities and limitations. Determines if intervention is needed. Establishes a plan of care and treatment goals. Completes comprehensive evaluations within the established time frame. Identifies and prioritizes key limiting factors. Establishes functional, measurable, patient-related treatment goals reflecting key limiting factors. Collaborates with patients and family/caregiver when setting goals. Initiates discharge planning. Makes recommendations for modifications to referring orders as necessary. Implements individualized treatment plans considering patients' physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs. Provides skilled treatment in a safe manner. Assesses ongoing effectiveness of treatment and modifies the plan of care as indicated. Involves patients and family/caregiver in treatment and decision-making processes. Provides ongoing education to physicians, nurses, patients, family/caregiver, and the interdisciplinary team. Documents according to professional practice guidelines set by regulatory agencies. Completes documentation legibly within established time frames. Documents evidence-based and individualized treatment techniques and plans. Ensures documentation reflects skilled intervention and comprehensive assessment of patients' progress or lack thereof. Reassesses treatment goals according to departmental policies. Communicates pertinent patient information to ensure optimal follow-through of care. Shares evaluation and treatment results and patient progress with physicians, nurses, patients, family/caregiver, and the interdisciplinary team. Communicates in a clear and timely manner. Accepts responsibility to contact physicians for routine or difficult problem-solving to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Defends treatment rationale with standard practices and current literature. Exhibits adaptability in assignments regarding caseload, scheduling, and staffing shifts. Takes initiative to assist in other patient care areas and accepts responsibility for all patient care needs. Demonstrates appropriate supervision and delegation of personnel to achieve safe delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care. Supervision and delegation of tasks comply with departmental policies and regulatory agencies. Participates in the training and orientation of new personnel. Assures competency of personnel prior to delegation of tasks. Attends required meetings and/or follows up to obtain pertinent information. Participates in departmental and facility process improvement initiatives. Meets productivity standards set by the department. Interacts with all levels of staff in various departments, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts concerning patient care.
