Housing stipends, travel allowance, and paid training included. 60; 60; Job Title: Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care (Contract) Job Type Contract Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care setting. This role offers a flexible full-time schedule and the opportunity to work across multiple clinical environments, supporting diverse patient populations and rehabilitation needs. Schedule & Work Structure 36–40 hours per week with flexibility Work schedule split between two facilities during the week Example structure: 3 days at one facility and 2 days at another (may vary based on coverage needs) May include one weekend day as part of a 5-day workweek Guaranteed 40 hours per week when full 8-hour shifts are completed Therapists are not required to cover both facilities in a single day Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physical therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records Specialty Rehabilitation Therapy Sub-Specialty Physical Therapist Rehabilitation Setting Inpatient Requirements Active and current Physical Therapist license (state-specific) Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Additional Information Reference checks must be submitted via email (no phone calls) Holiday coverage may be required Only qualified and certified candidates may apply.
