The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility and function. Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities Monitor patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist Educate patients on exercises and safe mobility techniques Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records Collaborate with the therapy team and healthcare staff Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Required: Active PTA license in state of assignment or ability to obtain Required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification Preferred: Previous therapy or healthcare experience
