Radiology Tech Location: Monroe, LA Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician Job Details: Arrange patients for nuclear medicine examinations Produce nuclear medicine images to aid in medical diagnosis Prevent patients from unnecessary radiation exposure Ensure patient safety through preparation, calibration and administration of radiopharmaceuticals Utilize departmental policies for safe equipment operation Provide complete pre and post education to patients and families Work under general supervision with ability to evaluate competency levels of others as preceptor Handle emergency room and routine inpatient and outpatient examinations Report to Supervisor or Manager Required certifications: License/Certificate Verification Must complete skills checklist, competency exam, and core competencies Background check and drug screening required Eye exam and color vision testing required Resume and HRIS form submission required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Nuclear Medicine department that serves both emergency and routine patient populations.
