Radiology Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Opportunity: IR tech 4x10s Days Job Details: Work four 10-hour day shifts Average of 4-6 call shifts per month required Typically one weekend shift per month 2 years of experience in radiologic equipment operation required Proven radiologic technologist knowledge, skills, and abilities required Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, OBMI Epic charting system experience required Trauma Level I experience preferred Function as integral member of interventional radiology team Provide direct patient care using medical imaging techniques Assist with radiographic procedures for vascular and non-vascular structures Ensure radiation safety for patients and team members Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics Handle diverse procedures from central line placements to embolizations and strokes Rotate between dual IR locations Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Complete pre-start modules (average 2.25 hours for non-RN positions) Must achieve 85% or higher score on Relias exams Facility: This major academic medical center operates a comprehensive Interventional Radiology Department that provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
