Job Description & Requirements Specialty Med Surg Discipline RN Start Date ASAP Duration 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Orthopedic Job Details Work night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours (must be indicated on submission form) 13-week assignment length Weekend hours required every other weekend No call requirements Patient ratio of 1:6 on 30-bed orthopedic unit Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed Provide direct patient care using EPIC EMR system Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions and medical comorbidities Current RN License (Missouri eligible or currently licensed in Missouri) required BLS from AHA required ACLS from AHA preferred 2 years orthopedic experience required (inpatient only) Black scrubs required Night shift orients on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance High risk exposure to blood and body fluids Facility This healthcare facility has been a healing presence in the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
