Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,093–$2,220 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with evenings, weekends, and holidays included Start date: 05/25/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Leadership responsibilities with clinical oversight and staff development Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and direct supervision to nursing staff on assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to standards of care Coordinate and oversee patient care activities across the unit, prioritizing tasks based on acuity and patient needs Monitor staffing levels and adjust deployment in accordance with unit policies, patient acuity, and regulatory requirements Support nurses in managing emergencies and complex clinical situations, guiding decision-making and escalation as needed Facilitate ongoing staff development, competency assessments, and performance coaching for nurses on shift and during weekends Collaborate with Nursing Managers, off-site Clinical Leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure consistent care delivery Requirements NYS RN Licensure (active) BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certification within 90 days of hire 3 years of acute care RN experience; 1 year critical care experience (preferably ED) 1 year leadership/charge nurse experience Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical problem-solving skills Benefits and Support Travel assignment support from a dedicated recruiter Credentialing assistance to meet 90-day certification requirements Onboarding and orientation to support transition into a clinical leadership role Access to assignment resources and mentoring networks Find more opportunities Find more openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
