Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality respiratory care in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and nebulizers Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis Respond to emergency situations, including providing life support and airway management Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy or related field Valid state/license certification (as required by local regulations) Certification such as CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) preferred ACLS, BLS, PALS, NBRC Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment
