Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel) Location: TriStar Stone Crest Medical Center – Smyrna, TN Address: 200 Stone Crest Blvd Unit: Women’s Services (Labor & Delivery) Position Type: Travel Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: May 26, 2026 Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Compensation: Total Gross Pay $1,867/week About The Role TriStar StoneCrest is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join its Women’s Services team. This unit supports a patient‑centered, family‑focused birth experience with a laborist model, 24/7 midwife coverage, and a dedicated CRNA. The team emphasizes personalized care, vaginal birth support, and evidence‑based practice. Unit Overview Beds: 9 L&D rooms, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, 3‑bed OBED Patient Ratio: 1:2 Staffing: Unit secretary, scrub tech, dedicated CRNA, in‑house midwife 24/7, OBGYN on call EHR: CPN and Meditech Floating: May float to Mother/Baby or task outside the department Patient Experience Goal: Maintain >75% Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, compassionate care to laboring patients Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth when clinically appropriate Circulate in the OR and assist with procedures including IUPC, FSE, MgSO₄ administration, postpartum hemorrhage management (JADA system), and nitrous oxide Collaborate with midwives, CRNAs, OB physicians, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards Work four weekend shifts per month Required Qualifications Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring Minimum 2 years of L&D experience Strong clinical judgment and ability to support diverse birth plans Preferred Skills Spinning Babies familiarity STABLE certification Experience with high‑risk deliveries By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
