Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1years School Psychologist experience required.Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time, onsite School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year (through end of May) with the potential for Extended School Year (ESY) through June.This role is based in Las Cruces, NM, and offers the unique opportunity to serve in a supportive small district known for its beautiful southern New Mexico setting, with close proximity to El Paso, TX.The role primarily supports a middle school, focusing heavily on therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and conducting re-evaluations.The current psychologist is on FMLA, but this assignment is expected to continue for the full school year regardless of the incumbents return.Travel between campuses may be required and will be compensated.Key Qualifications:Must hold New Mexico state licensure as a School Psychologist; level 2 or 3 preferred, but level 1 considered Experience providing therapy and conducting psychological re-evaluations in a school setting Skill in crisis intervention and collaborative work with school personnel Availability for a full school year commitment (part-time candidates may be considered) Ability to work onsite full time at the middle school location Responsibilities:Administer comprehensive psychological assessments and re-evaluations Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to students Participate in crisis assessment and intervention as needed Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to promote student success Travel between district campuses when required Benefits:Experience working in a supportive, community-focused district Compensation includes pay for travel between campuses Opportunity to live and work in a scenic area near national landmarks such as White Sands National Park Proximity to El Paso, TX, expanding candidate catchment area This is an excellent role for individuals licensed in New Mexico who are seeking a meaningful school psychology position within a welcoming and scenic environment.Candidates from southern NM and nearby Texas locations are encouraged to apply.To be considered for this opportunity, please submit your credentials promptly..
