Speech Language Pathologist Location: Jersey Shore, PA Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This role focuses on improving patients’ communication abilities and overall quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression Diagnose and treat dysphagia (swallowing disorders) Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case conferences Ensure adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Strong understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off (PTO) CEU and license reimbursement Flexible schedule / work-life balance
