Surgical Tech Location Sun City, AZ Agency Jackson HealthPros Pay $1,967 to $2,167 per week Shift Information Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration 13 Weeks Start Date 5/26/2026 About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Sun City, Arizona, 85351! Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Sun City, AZ. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiovascular and vascular procedures. You will prepare the OR, manage instrumentation and supplies, support cardiopulmonary bypass setup and operation, and help ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Minimum Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program (NBSTSA or equivalent). Preferred: CST certification. (Preferred items are noted.) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One to two years of experience as a surgical technologist, or three to four years of surgical technologist experience where applicable. Candidate must be proficient to scrub in a minimum of two surgical specialties. Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures, including familiarity with cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine, cardiac assistive devices, and vascular access techniques. Client requires CVOR-specific skills as part of minimum qualifications. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to maintain professional decorum during emergent situations. Manual dexterity, adequate visual acuity including color vision, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds when required. Where applicable, registration with the State Regulatory Agency as required.
