Ultrasound Tech Location: Houston, TX Agency: Pride Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Houston, TX 77087 . This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation! Specific Duties: Perform diagnostic sonography in accordance with the policies, procedures. Conduct sonographic examinations, including abdominal, small parts, obstetric (OB), and breast imaging. Understand and adapt to age specific communication needs to instruct patients during sonographic procedures effectively. Communicate clearly with patients to ensure accurate and high quality imaging studies. Interact professionally and effectively with patients and coworkers, including staff at other assigned locations. Maintain open and effective communication with the Supervisor, Lead Technologist, and Radiologists for feedback and coordination of care. Accurately understand and respond to questions by providing clear, information. Qualifications: 1+ Year of Ultrasound Experience High school graduate or GED equivalent Knowledge of medical terminology required Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology. Understands and applies technical principles affecting optimal production of sonographic images, as well as anatomical orientations and anomalies affecting the final product. Conscious of ultrasound safety measures. Utilises sterile technique when necessary. Must have qualifications/experience: RDMS (ABD, OB/GYN, BR) RVT/RVS BLS for healthcare providers High school graduate or GED equivalent Additional Information: Location: Houston TX. 77087 Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire Schedule: Monday through Friday Shift start & end times: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm Workdays per week: 5 days Pay Range: $50-54/hrs. on W2 without benefits #PHCUHGClinical $250 *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
