HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Lewiston, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel JA3 The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations. Facility Requirements: Must have AART/RDMS certification, this must be attached to the submission packet Must have General US Tech, OB, Vascular experience US Echo Tech experience preferred Must have BLS certifications, must be attached to the candidate submission (Must be through the American Heart Association) Must have 2 years recent US Tech experience
