The Opportunity Join Ally’s Balance Sheet Management Asset Forecasting team as a Manager (Individual Contributor). In this role, you will be a key member of the team responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating high-quality asset forecasts that inform balance sheet strategy, capital and liquidity planning, earnings outlooks, and interest rate risk management. You will partner closely with FP&A and Capital Markets to translate portfolio dynamics, market conditions, and strategic initiatives into robust, explainable projections. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional with deep forecasting/modeling expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence through insight. At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The Work Itself Core Responsibilities: Net Financing revenue forecasting, reporting and analysis. Lead end-to-end asset forecasting for assigned portfolios (e.g., consumer auto, mortgage, commercial, investment securities), including balances, interest income, yields, prepayments, and product mix. Own forecast production cycles for monthly outlooks, quarterly corporate forecasts, annual planning, and stress testing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong controls. Develop, enhance, and document forecasting methodologies, overlays, and assumption frameworks; challenge models and inputs to ensure reasonableness and fidelity to business drivers. Lead cross-functional projects and model update cycles—defining scope and timelines, coordinating stakeholders (Treasury, Risk, FP&A, Business), executing methodology and assumption changes, managing testing/validation and controls, and delivering clear documentation and easily digestible communications for approvals and implementation. Translate complex results into clear narratives, executive-ready materials, and decision support for senior leadership. Support governance requirements, including model risk management, controls testing, documentation, and regulatory requests. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned asset classes and mentor peers on best practices and standards. Contribute to creation of content for ALCO. Identifies significant, unusual and emerging risks. Mentoring junior level talent Skills The Skills You Bring Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience High school Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications Highly preferred: 5+ years progressive experience in aligned area/functions (Structured Funding, Funding - Liquidity, Liquidity Risk, Treasury Operations, Capital and Balance Sheet Management, Capital Markets, Economics) in the financial industry. Highly preferred: Bachelor's degree in finance or economics. Highly preferred: Experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) is a plus Possesses solid technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and leadership capabilities. Well-developed project management, analytical and judgment skills. Familiarity with ALM concepts (NII, EVE, liquidity, hedging) and forecasting processes. Exceptional problem solving, attention to detail, and commitment to controls and documentation.
