Who you are 5+ years of related experience, ideally in Capital Management, Treasury, or Financial Risk Management within a bank or fintech Deep understanding of regulatory capital frameworks and balance sheet dynamics Experience building and owning complex financial models from scratch Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides. Experience with Empyrean ALM is a plus Proven ability to prepare and present complex quantitative information to senior decision-makers Collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships Inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence, and a missionary attitude Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; CFA or FRM preferred What the job involves We are looking for a Manager of Capital Management to join our Corporate Treasury team You will lead the development and execution of our end-to-end Capital Stress Testing framework, a critical process for how SoFi Bank and the consolidated entity manage and forecast capital adequacy Critical to success in this role is the ability to independently drive complex projects forward and exercise strong problem-solving skills in an evolving environment Design and build a multi-year capital stress testing framework (e.g., CCAR/DFAST-style) to evaluate the firm's capital adequacy under adverse economic scenarios Drive the end-to-end capital planning and stress testing lifecycle, integrating baseline forecasting, stress testing and scenario analysis Partner cross-functionally with risk, strategic finance, and business units to drive capital planning and stress testing results, including the integration of new products Develop methodologies for translating macroeconomic scenarios into financial impacts on the balance sheet and P&L Execute strategic projects related to capital management, including evaluating capital actions and supporting potential capital markets activity or debt issuances Prepare high-visibility reporting and materials for senior management and the Board of Directors Benefits Comprehensive health, vision, dental, life insurance, and disability benefits Generous vacation and holidays Paid parental leave for eligible employees 401(k) and education on retirement planning Tuition reimbursement on approved programs, up to $5,250 per year Monthly contribution up to $200 to help you pay off your student loans Great health & well-being benefits including: telehealth parental support, subsidized gym program Flexible time off Fertility and family planning options Free financial classes
