Job Description John's Tree Service and Landscaping are looking for an experienced Tree Climber/Bucket Operator Description: Looking for an Tree Climber with 5 yrs of experience or more. Climber is expected to remove and prune trees/shrubs. Climber will be expected to work on the ground, out of a bucket truck, spider lift, and climb trees as needed. Climbers will be expected to lead the tree crew in a safe and efficient manner. Tasks Remove trees and shrubs Operation of equipment: Manual transmission trucks, bucket truck, spider lift, climbing equipment, woodchippers, mini skid steer, chainsaws, hand saws, hedge trimmer, pole saw/pruner, long handle pruner, and other hand tools. Climb trees using: climbing spurs, belts, and ropes Trim trees without climbing spurs Lower branches with ropes and lowering devices Clean, sharpen, and maintain tools/equipment Clear and collect debris from tree trimming and removal material from work site Lead/Supervise and train others in the operation of a tree crew Tree Climbers must also have experience in: Tree trimming and removal, Roping and rigging techniques Knowledge how to improve appearance, health, and value trees/shrubs Must also know their knots We offer: Competitive wages Wages are based on experience A current and valid: Driver's license is required for all tree climbers.
