Tree Climber

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to tree trimming, care, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights using specialized equipment. Applicant must have three or more years of experience climbing in the tree care industry. Duties Climb trees using appropriate techniques and equipment to perform trimming and pruning tasks. Operate bucket trucks safely for high-access tree work. Assess tree health and provide care recommendations based on observations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during projects. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks while working at heights or with heavy equipment. Assist in landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including lawn care and gardening. Skills Proficiency in tree trimming techniques and tree care practices. Experience with bucket operation for elevated work. Knowledge of landscape maintenance principles. Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping tree locations may be beneficial. Strong physical fitness to handle the demands of climbing and lifting. Attention to detail and ability to recognize signs of tree diseases or pests.
